i noticed on this forum there is a great interest in seaton products but a totall lack of corespance. is there more people here interested in seaton products but don't actually own the equipment? i don't see how over 800 people can look at a thread and only 5 or 6 respond. hmmmm... i don't get it.

I jumped in head first.

Now, I get to try and convince others.

I guess you could call me one of the trail blazers.  Have had my sub since Mar of 07.  People are just curious.  The ones who are serious and want to know, get the info they need here.  I also think that there are people out there who are getting Mark's gear who simply don't post for one reason or another.

I simply love this stuff.

We spend our time enjoying the subs rather than posting.

Please ask specific questions and I'm sure you will get some specific answers.

That is the truth.  We are to busy listening and we don't have the time to prop ourselves up or feel the need to validate what we bought constantly. There are plenty of people on this forum that will be more then willing to help or  share an experience or two

Maybe Mark would get more postings here if you were reward with a 12Hz "kaboom" every time you posted (assuming you were hooked up through your system)?

I don't know if it is that unusual. AVSForum has over 300,000 registered members, but most posts in each forum are by the same 20 - 30 people.

And speaking for myself only, I don't want this to become anything like AVSforum.  I like the little family we have here that have, and enjoy, Mark's products.  When forums get too large, they turn into AVSforum and AV123 with useless BS being splattered across the pages.  That's why I like Mark's price points so much.  It keeps the riff raff away usually.  However, I did make it here.

I made it here too, so the riff raff filter is definitely not working!

So long as it's practical or at least possible to appease, or even make the riff-raff happy, the door is open.

Back to SubMersive packing...

Now that Seth got banned from AV123 maybe he will stop his infinite wait for the BMF and UFW-12 HR upgrades and just buy a few SubMersives like I told him a LONG time ago.  If you want the door open for riff-raff, who better than Seth?

I didn't actually get banned. I got told I was banned for a week, but no one actually revoked my posting privileges. But I can come and post here if you're need of some riff-raff.

Maybe while I'm here if I bother Mr. Seaton enough I can get him to upgrade my UFW-12's.

Feel free to hang around Seth, ...and don't worry, if I ban you for a week or a day, I'll be sure and deliver on it.

I'll see you on the 10th.

Perfect!  I knew I could count on you.

Yes you will.  I'm bringing all the alcohol you can drink to make you spill the beans on why I don't have any of the subwoofers I have on order with AV123 that you're holding up.

BTW, did Pete tell you he moved the start time to 10am?

I thought the 10am start time was just for me so that I might be there by 2pm.

I'm tentatively planning on getting into the area some time Friday night.

While forum interaction is a key part of my business, I prefer to not handle internal/background business matters on the forums as the forums don't run my business nor write the checks that have to pay bills each month.  As much as people search for details & specifics of how or why, if those details don't pertain to a solution to the task, they are of no benefit to those looking for answers.

I look forward to some fun at Pete's meet and we'll definitely chat & joke about your ability to pick or even win the most delayed products earlier than most anyone else.

Following that thinking, they must have told MLS it started in 2005!

Convince the poor suffering soul to give up on the other products and get some REAL subs from Seaton Sounds.

Point taken.  I think I have sorted out what's going on surrounding this subwoofer "drama" on both sides, but I don't understand how exactly it got to where it is.  It'll be interesting to compare notes off the record.

Yes, I seem to have that uncanny knack.
