Hi all, this is my first post in this forum. I've been reading a lot about the Catalysts the past few days. I have a couple questions regarding the "fully active DSP" built into the Catalyst.

To Mark or others who may know, is the DSP program that's loaded into the Catalyst field upgradeable? So that if Mark tweaks the crossover then that change could be made available to existing owners without having to ship the amp unit back?

Also, because the speaker input is an analog XLR and the crossover is digital, does that mean the audio signal has to go through an A-D and D-A conversion in the speaker? Might there be any loss of resolution with this conversion?

thanks,
Thuc

NO..   Unless Mark comes out to the field of course.  Programming software & interface isn't designed for the end user.

Might there be any loss of resolution with this conversion?  NO for all practical purposes anyway...  Any loss would be mentally injected

thanks,
