Those who attended are welcome to add any pictures they took to this thread along with the reports and info we'll be adding.  Thank you to all who made it to our very large demo room this year at AXPONA 2017.

This year I decided to conceal the speakers to not shock attendees with massive speakers to cloud judgement.  The visual wow factor was left to the pair of 8' tall, quad stack of F18s and 14' wide Stewart screen lit up by Sony's rather amazing VW5000ES. [cool]  I caught this quick picture while we were playing some music through the system with the lights back up:

[AXP17-Screen1]

The screen is flanked by a pair of 4' x 8' fabric wrapped frames to conceal the left/right Catalyst 12C powered speakers.  This was the first public demonstration of the 12C with the updated coaxial from the Spark series, which served surround duty for the system.  All of the fabric panels were done using Fabricmate fabric track and constructed by Accurate Acoustics who also displayed in the room and is based in the Chicago suburbs.  You may recognize their name from their part in the construction, acoustics, and fabric work for the Star Wars theater.

The Sony VW5000ES projector's 4k/HDR picture was calibrated by Ken Whitcomb (D6500Ken on AVS) using the Lumagen Radiance Pro.  I also want to thank quad SubMersive owner and reviewer/editor for Sound & Vision Magazine, Kris Deering, for his help on the video calibration.

The video crew covering Axpona came by to check out what was in our room and put together a cool video interview showing what we had set up in the room:

I will be adding more info on the new Ember 400 & Ember 630 in-wall/in-ceiling speakers we had on display, along with the long awaited availability of the Spark & Spark XC.

Of course we need a shot for scale of those awesome F18 stacks [cool] (currently on sale for only $5,180 per stack)

Much more to come.

Looks great Mark!

I have marked next year down in my cal so I can finally go to this event to see your gear. Honestly, I wish I had the house and budget to fill a room. I do have another MFW begging for one of your ICE amps, let me know when one becomes available. It's not huge I know but that makes 3 Seaton sound items I can brag about. [biggrin]

AVR/Blu-Ray - Marantz SR7009 (9.2.2) - Blu-Ray Oppo UDP 203 - Apple TV
Front Height Amplifier - 2 Marantz MA6100's
Speakers - Klipsch RF-82 - Center RC-64 - Front Wide 2 RP-160M, Front Height 2 RB-10
Rear Surround - Surround Back 2 RS-52, Surround 2 R-14M
Subs - Dual MFW15's (Seaton Sound ICE amplifiers, soon to be triple MFW's)
TV -Samsung 55" 8500
2CH - Klipsch "The Sixes" and 1 MFW15

Looks like it was an awesome setup and room. [smile]

By the way, Mark, anything on my last email? I don't want to pollute these threads with these kinds of posts but sometimes I feel I have no choice. [tongue]

I can forward it again if you wish.

Hi Rajesh, I just sent you a quick e-mail. These are absolutely intended for Atmos/height channels, or anywhere the 30 degree angle is useful.  Please note the cover panel and magnetic grill both can be ordered in black or white as many of our customers have black ceilings for their projectors.
