Hi Guys,
While I'm still catching up after the adventure in Indianapolis around the CEDIA Expo last week/weekend, I finally had a moment to upload some pictures I had a friend take a long while back when we had the cherry veneer SubMersives from the Australian group buy in process with our cabinet builder which is only a short 40 min drive north of our location near Chicago.
These will later be added to the website with more annotation and explanation, but I thought some might find these of interesting to peruse what goes into the build process.

Pretty neat to see how it all comes together. The folding looks interesting. No wonder the build quality is top shelf . __________________ I simply love this stuff. |

If all of those subs hit 40hz at the same time, we could probably stop the rotation of the earth or even reverse it !! __________________ Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first!! |

Very nice! I remember discussing the cabinet builder folding process, etc., .... as we explored some Catalyst ideas while at the Indy demo.
Solid work. |

Those corners are amazing.
Try to do that without a CNC. I have enough trouble trying to make a true 45 degree cut for my own projects.

I love the craftsmanship too and really love my SubMersive. While it’s not the only reason for buying a SubMersive, for me a strong factor besides the awesome performance is knowing that I bought something that was built, assembled and tweaked here in the USA especially with the current economy. The guy in these pic wearing the blue hat with the Red, White & Blue out fit kinda sums it up well Thanks for sharing these pics Mark! |

Thanks FOH,
At some point I want to get similar pictures of the Catalyst 12C or 8C going together as seeing the entire speaker's shell start as a single panel and then fold up around the internal bracing is a pretty slick trick.
Very nice to finally get to chat face to face last weekend. __________________ Mark Seaton

Very nice to finally get to chat face to face last weekend. It was nice to discuss all the things we touched on. Regarding Catalyst construction pics, that would really be cool. Products as well thought out/built as these, pics and exposure such as this can only be a good thing.
Have fun and good luck at the RMAF |

I'm attending, but not demonstrating. I'll be hanging around a booth/table at the lobby level where my cabinet builders will have a small display while making some rounds to see what is new. If anyone wants to meet at the show, shoot me a PM or e-mail. I'll try to post here when I know I'll be hanging around the booth. __________________ Mark Seaton

Missed this thread before. Looks really cool how they just fold up like that. Taping is genius.
