Hi All,

With all that I'm working on here I don't have much available time to get too engrossed in direct support of the mess AV123 has created through a lack of QC or tech support, I will be seeing what I can do with Kevin and at least offer some means for making products functional and enjoyable.  The upgrade kits will get higher priority, but if things fall out any further and there is a real need (not just what-if scenarios) I certainly can come up with solutions.  There is a limit to how much I will support while AV123 is still selling the products, but here's an example:

Anyone else with a blown HR UFW-12?

I would be pissed too. However, IF there is a replacement available, they are the only ones who will have it. You won't know unless you ask. Maybe in a day or two. Once again, best of luck.

While I have no idea what AV123 still has in stock, I do know they have all of the HR drivers they ordered, and won't be getting any more of those drivers.  Replacement or repair of drivers is most certainly possible, and while I wouldn't ask the supplier to replace a driver that was damaged by a misbehaving amplifier, we can certainly fix the driver for less than the cost of a new driver.

We'll see what transpires in the coming months, but Kevin and I have started some brainstorming on what we can offer in alternates should the need arise.  Of course the Big Block and Turbo kits will be the ideal options with the biggest improvement for money spent.  The Big Block kit is easily 2x the subwoofer with much better deep output and sound quality than the original, and still a significant jump over even the Hot Rod kit AV123 had offered (at least the working form that was first delivered, who knows about the recent deliveries).

Please direct questions to Kevin so he can corral the various issues and such for me.

It sure seems like the more things change at VA321 the more they stay the same.

It's good to know that Mark and Kevin are looking out for people.

Ok I guess I need to clarify something, although I thought Mark made it clear.

ALL NON SEATON SOUND INQUIRES NEED TO GO THROUGH MOTOR CITY CUSTOM AUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!

support@motorcitycustomaudio.com  is my email address, and I actually get back to questions generally within 24hrs during the week, weekends vary depending on what I have going on.

Ok now that that is clear right folks

Mark is very busy with his own products and developing new stuff.  I am the single point of contact for all the upgrade kits, and if you send mark an email he is probably going to do 1 of 2 things: forward it on to me, or forget about it because he doesnt have time.  It is much easier for him if he answers one question to me than the same thing 7 times to various people.  This also will allow him time to work with me on some of the products that everyone is asking for and also some other interesting things

Thank You

Hmm...  I wonder why this is?  Did their driver maker close up shop and run away to a foreign country like the previous maker of the HR driver?

Hardly.

*I* can still get any related drivers I need with sufficient lead time.

Chu Gai must have gotten to them and convinced them they were dealing with Satan with false accusations then because I can't think of any other reason why they wouldn't want to do business with 'em.
