Since I see a little grass (in the protected, sun exposed areas) in my yard, I thought I'd re-ask...
Any updates/new installs/gear from people?
I realize outdoor products are likely low on the Seaton "To Do" list, but either Seaton products or interesting non-Seaton outdoor speakers would be fair game to talk about.

Hi Mike,
Likely to be a while given how things are going right now as I get a few more people up to speed and get the suppliers delivering reliably with current and a few more products coming before the end of the summer. How that process moves will determine if I have time for any outdoor related projects. Of course visiting WarrenP's outdoor theater over the summer always keeps the wheels turning. __________________ Mark Seaton

Cool. Thanks for the update.
WarrenP is supposed to come up to my house soon for an AVS HT video shoot. I need to get back to him. Thanks for the reminder.
I'll keep watching for any developments...
Mike

While I don't have time to develop what I'd like to right now, I do continue to give some thought to what could work well for outdoor applications. I have been gestating a few ideas on actual implementation, and hopefully this summer I can do some further tinkering. We will be having a bit of fun with some speakers outdoors at Warren's home on June 12th. Warren is also the man responsible for the series of Home Theater Revealed DVDs sold at AVS.
While I have many ideas, I keep circling back to an approach more along the lines of a "some assembly required" approach where I can make for options that can be more easily concealed or packaged as appropriate for the application. Some cases it would be best to make for a concealed, permanent install, where others it makes more sense to follow the lead of some of the fully contained, portable PA systems for easy setup and breakdown. __________________ Mark Seaton
