I saw that this was not answered. In the 6-12 months after this thread was started, amplifier prices kept climbing, murrel had plenty of V3 amps, and a significant percentage of defective amplifiers were brought back to life with the some simple part replacements as detailed on murrel's site. With the reality of the suppliers I felt confident in, the pricing wasn't quite as attractive as I had wanted, and I couldn't justify the very significant dollar investment required with other projects like the Turbo kit and my own products still to deliver. We will have the Turbo kit upgrade available soon and that is where our current focus and resources are being directed. Kevin and I have a couple ideas for outboard single and dual MFW-15 solutions for those who can't justify the Turbo upgrade, and we'll be testing a few of those after we have the first couple waves of Turbo kits delivered. Once we have some Turbo kits delivered we'll see what sort of demand there is for replacement amps and if sourcing an amplifier is financially viable.
