Not sure where the production of the drop in amps stand but put me on the list when they come available.

Hi johnny,

I saw that this was not answered.  In the 6-12 months after this thread was started, amplifier prices kept climbing, murrel had plenty of V3 amps, and a significant percentage of defective amplifiers were brought back to life with the some simple part replacements as detailed on murrel's site.  With the reality of the suppliers I felt confident in, the pricing wasn't quite as attractive as I had wanted, and I couldn't justify the very significant dollar investment required with other projects like the Turbo kit and my own products still to deliver.  We will have the Turbo kit upgrade available soon and that is where our current focus and resources are being directed.  Kevin and I have a couple ideas for outboard single and dual MFW-15 solutions for those who can't justify the Turbo upgrade, and we'll be testing a few of those after we have the first couple waves of Turbo kits delivered.

Once we have some Turbo kits delivered we'll see what sort of demand there is for replacement amps and if sourcing an amplifier is financially viable.

Hi Mark, currently have two mfw15's and Rick Cullen at wired for sound was able to fix hum in one amp, now amp two has more serious problem. Is it possible to get a schematic copy for these amps so I can see if rick can fix. If not, I don't know if it is better to cut my loss and look for different amp or turbo kit. This set up was awesome when working, what would you advise, thanks, Ron.

The older I get, the faster I was.

There are no schematics of the amp

I think I have 1 amp left with the cap fixes and Turbos will start shipping in quantity soon

I'm not certain it has everything included and detailed, but I do have some schematics which might help if he really wants to put the time into fixing it.  Of course there were a few versions, so who knows what changed over time, but they should be more helpful than not having them.  PM me with the e-mail I can send the PDF's to.
