Hey guys,
Just curious to ask...who here turns off there Catalysts and Submersives after use and who leaves theres on 24/7?. Is there much electricity used when leaving them on all the time?
Cheers, Kevin

I turn off my 3 Cats and 4 Sparks but leave on my 4 SubMersives (too hard to get to the on/off switch)

I was wondering this too actually. I'd probably leave most everything on. Everything goes into a standby mode when not receiving a signal, right? Much like a typical powered subwoofer that most people are used to

I use a Niles AC-3 hooked up to one of the 12V triggers on my processor to power on/off my SubMersives. It has paid for itself in under 3 years at our current electric rates. I'm not a big fan of letting devices suck down power 24/7 when there is no need for it.
When received my first SubMersive I checked it with a kill-a-watt and found it to be a ~20W draw although I have seen others post it is slightly lower. That is 24/7 as long as there is power to it as there is no stand-by mode.
